Birna Trap has over 20 years of experience working in the health field in developing countries. Dr. Trap has a solid Public Administration background gained from 10 years of experience working with the Ministry of Health in Denmark. Following that she was posted long term to the South East Asian Regional WHO office in New Delhi and later served five years as a Danida Programme Manager in Zimbabwe.Birna Trap Joined EHG as Director in 1997Since September 2009 Birna Trap has been working as Chief of Party for the SURE Programme in Uganda. A USAID funded 5 year programme. As SURE’s Program Director, Dr. Birna Trap brings 25 years of expertise in the pharmaceutical sector to the program. Dr. Trap has worked on projects in 75 countries in collaboration with numerous governments, implementing partners, and donors
